End User License Agreement

The Mimi app is licensed, not sold. Subject to this EULA, the Terms of Service, and applicable app store rules, the Licensor grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control.

You may use the app for personal reading, listening, catalog browsing, importing supported documents, AI narration, LibriVox playback, and library syncing.

You may use the app only as permitted by Apple App Store, Google Play, operating system, and device platform rules that apply to you.

You are responsible for all activity through your account and device.

You must not:

The Licensor and its licensors retain all rights in the app, code, design, brand, icons, interface, documentation, updates, and related software.

You retain ownership of your uploaded documents and content, subject to the limited processing license described in the Terms of Service.

The app may parse EPUB files and text-based PDF files locally, sync supported uploaded documents through backend storage, and generate AI narration through backend and third-party providers.

You are responsible for having the rights needed for any content you import, sync, process, or generate audio from.

Generated audio is for personal use inside the app unless you have all rights required for another use.

The app may receive updates through app stores or update services.

Updates may add, modify, or remove features and may be required for continued access to backend services.

Older versions may stop working if they are incompatible with security, sync, catalog, or narration systems.

The app uses or interacts with third-party services and software, including authentication, analytics, notifications, public catalog sources, EPUB/PDF parsing libraries, cloud storage, AI narration providers, and app store infrastructure.

Third-party terms and privacy policies may apply.

If you obtained the app through Apple, Apple is not responsible for maintenance or support, is not responsible for claims relating to the app, and is a third-party beneficiary of this EULA to the extent required by Apple's rules.

If you obtained the app through Google Play, Google Play terms and policies also apply.

The Licensor, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the app and its content except where platform rules say otherwise.

Apple and Google are not responsible for providing support or maintenance for the app.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available."

The Licensor disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, compatibility, and error-free performance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost profits, service interruption, content errors, narration errors, third-party failures, or inability to access synced content.

Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited as described in the Terms of Service unless applicable law requires otherwise.

This license terminates automatically if you violate this EULA or the Terms of Service.

Upon termination, you must stop using and delete the app.

Termination does not limit rights or remedies available to the Licensor under law or contract.

You must comply with all applicable laws, export controls, sanctions rules, copyright laws, and platform policies when using the app.
